Bubble Bobble
This arcade style action game pits two spiky dinosaurs named Bob and Bud against groups of enemies on a single screen. Instead of jumping on them or smashing them with a hammer, you have the ability to breathe bubbles to trap your unfortunate targets. Once encased, you can pop it with your spikes to send it flying and leaving valuable items behind.Much of the challenge in achieving a high score is to collect these items before they disappear while avoiding the baddies still patrolling the area. You can often take shortcuts using openings on either side of the screen to wrap around the room but beware — the enemies can use them the exact same way.
Bubble Bubble also features cooperative multiplayer support.
